Kudos to NetWiz!

Postby Rotorhead » Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:13 pm

I like the new format for the BB, and really appreciate having it back on! My fingernails are all chewed off in frustration and anxiety at not being able to get here and chat. True withdrawal symptoms!!!Thanks very much to NetWiz for all the hard work that must have gone into converting the board to the newer format with no loss of content, from what I can see. Thanks very, very much!

Yes, thank you very much. It's obvious now how often I log in and read the posts on the board. I truly missed the BB! :)

I agree, we were all going through a painful withdrawal period but well worth the wait and in addition we are on very robust hardware.

I agree with everyone else. The format is cool looking (even if I'm still getting used to the poster info on the right side of the page). And all of the functionality and archived posts seem intact and for some reason, images look better. If John is lurking, there appears to be some functionality issues with the Private Messagingl. Some already read messages were appearing in Outbox rather than Sentbox... Otherwise, I see no other issues and there are even new features! Avatars may now be uploaded to the BB rather than using an offsite URL, but that feature is also available... Kudos, indeed! Really great job,John!

This is my first visit to the new site. I have to agree, it was worth the wait. 8) It is clean and has a more mentally organized feel. It only serves to prove that sometimes it IS the little difference, that makes the difference. I was looking at images taken at the Winter Star Party back when I was a regular...repping for Pocono in the 90's. I realized that in that same span of solar orbits since, going forward I will be looking down?? rather than back. That view gives one a sense of gravity (no pun intended) and I wish to say that you (yes all of you) matter to me, and I hope, I matter to you. Thank you for all the good memories, and I hope to continue to feed more quality of purpose to you all and ASSNE. :P

As James Taylor wrote and sang, Roger: "The Secret O' Life is enjoying the passage of time...Einstein said he could never understand it all...and since were all on our way down, we might as well enjoy the ride..."

Been thinking of you, especially since you've been quiet of late. Hope to see you soon. Mr. Taylor's "passage of time" must be "enjoyed" together with our ASSNE brothers and sisters...no? 8)
