Last of the Summer Whining

As night fell over the recent snow and the near full moon was rising, I looked up and saw Cygnus flying overhead. I could hear him honking. No really.
He was honking how Summer was still happening for all points south, which happened to be the direction he was flying, and that it was not happening anymore for me. It really pissed me off. I shall not be mocked by a goose.

So I got out my camera and set up behind the house to block me from the light of the moon and I aimed, focused, and FIRED for 30 minutes directly at his bicuspids. I was going to blow his head off!

You may leave me here in Winter, Cygnus, but I shall have your HEAD!

So I missed his head but I got his heart. And though he flies onto Miami because he is eternal, I get the small Crescent Cloud of the last light of summer that I am sharing with my ASSNE bulletin board friends, all 5 or 6 of you.

Excellent, Tom! I'm really liking your approach to composition lately.

And as for Cygnus, if you've got wings why in the world would you stop at Miami?

Ok, maybe South Beach. I've never been there, but I hear it's good. :D
